Demolition of nearby footbridge & traffic restrictions - we're still open

23rd May 2017

Improvement works to Harrow Manorway are set to start near the elevated roundabout with the demolition of the footbridge based next to the former library site.

This will take place between 7pm on Friday 26 May until late Sunday 28 May.

Vehicle diversions will be put in place during the above dates and once re-opened, traffic will be reduced to a single lane with a 20mph speed limit introduced.

An alternative pedestrian crossing will be provided nearby, until a permanent crossing is completed as part of the main scheme.

The demolition of the footbridge is part of the wider major improvement plans for Harrow Manorway taking place between the Abbey Wood Station flyover and Eastern Way between June 2017 and autumn 2018.

Please note the above will not affect our opening hours.
