Birds and the Bees in Thamesmead

30th July 2015

Find out more about Thamesmead Youth Voice's environmental day at The Link on 22 August. Here you will learn about the damaging effects our litter and pollution is having on local wildlife.

The event comes after the group's recent visit to Crossness Nature Reserve where they discovered and learnt about many species of wildlife including birds, bees, insects and vegetation.

The Link's Reception/Operations Worker, Nadia Kassab who works closely with the group said: "The day offered the group the chance to explore and learn about a part of Thamesmead they had never been to before.

"They even managed to pick and take home some blackberries."
