The Link Thamesmead holds its first ever event in and either side of the public walk-way. The day included watersports, music, face painting, the Strongest Man contest run by Thamesmead Gym, a BBQ by Archway Project, football contests by Sporting Club Thamesmead, extensive community consultation by Trust Thamesmead and Thamesmead Youth Voice, as well as tours of The Link Thamesmead which was still under construction.
Two, free-standing, solid timber pods, which serve as the first floors in arches A and B are installed - the construction of which has never been seen before under a flyover.
